How LocaleQA handles files

Your reference file, target file, selected checks, locale, and optional glossary are sent to LocaleQA for comparison. LocaleQA does not send localization content to an AI model or use it for AI training.

LocaleQA stores the resulting report, not separate copies of the complete uploaded files. A report contains filenames, byte and entry counts, structural paths, check settings, issue messages, and—when needed to explain a finding—short source and target excerpts. Glossary terms may appear in issue evidence.

Because reports can contain real localization text, treat them according to the sensitivity of the underlying project.

Free early access keeps the latest 10 reports. When a new check exceeds that limit, the oldest report and its share link are removed. The Account page can delete individual reports or all saved account data. Deleting an email account requires a fresh confirmation link sent to the account address.

You must use the browser where the report was created or sign in to its account to view a saved report. Creating a share link makes the report available, without sign-in, to anyone who has that link. The link can be revoked, but previously downloaded copies cannot be recalled.

• Remove secrets, credentials, personal records, or unrelated confidential text.
• Use project-safe filenames because filenames appear in reports and exports.
• Review finding excerpts before creating a public share link.
• Do not use early access for regulated or highly sensitive content without an appropriate organizational review.
